What you need
✅ A valid government-issued ID — passport, national ID card, or driver's license
✅ The name on the document must match the name on your Plumex account exactly
✅ A selfie — good lighting, no glasses, face clearly visible

How to verify — step by step
Step 1 — Open verification
Go to App → Profile → Verification

Step 2 — Select document type
Choose passport, national ID, or driver's license. The document must not be expired.

Step 3 — Upload document photos
Take clear photos of front and back. Make sure:
All four corners are visible — nothing cropped
Text is sharp and readable — no blur
No glare, shadows, or fingers covering text

Step 4 — Take a selfie
Follow the on-screen instructions:
Good lighting — your face should be clearly lit
No glasses, hats, or face coverings
Look straight at the camera

Step 5 — Wait for approval
Verification is processed automatically — usually within minutes. In some cases it can take up to 48 hours. You will receive a push notification when it's done.
Common rejection reasons
Rejection reason | How to fix |
Document expired | Use a valid, in-date document |
Photo blurry or partially cut off | Retake in better lighting, ensure full document is in frame |
Name mismatch | Use a document that matches your account name exactly |

If rejected, you can re-submit in the app. After multiple failed attempts, contact support.

Can I use Plumex while KYC is pending? Basic wallet access is available, but the card and cash operations require completed KYC.
Does my verification expire? In some cases, periodic re-verification may be required. You'll be notified in-app if any action is needed.
