Proof of Address confirms where you actually live. It's a separate document from your ID — your passport or national ID proves who you are, not where you live, so it can't be used as Proof of Address.
Accepted documents (any ONE of these)
A utility bill (electricity, water, gas, internet) showing your name and address
A bank or card statement showing your name and address
An official registration/residency certificate (e.g. a residence registration certificate)
The document must be dated within the last 6 months. Older documents will be rejected regardless of type.
Not accepted
❌ A screenshot of a screen (photographing or screen-capturing a bill on your phone/computer) — this is the single most common rejection reason
❌ A scan
❌ Passports, national IDs, driving licenses, or any identity document — these prove identity, not address
❌ Documents older than 6 months
How to capture your document correctly
Best: export/download the document as a PDF directly from your bank's or utility provider's own app or online account — sharpest quality, nothing cropped
Also fine: a clear photo of the physical paper document — all 4 corners visible, flat, no glare, fully legible

If your bank statement is with Revolut, here's how to get a proper PDF:
On the main Home screen, tap More (the three dots)
Select Statement from the pop-up menu
Choose your desired date range, confirm the format is PDF, and tap Generate
(The same idea applies to most banking apps — look for a "Statements" or "Documents" section and export as PDF, not a screenshot.)
